Many have no hope, when someone say "Wait for me".

Let my mom and son be sure of my death.
Let my friends tire to wait for me:
they'll sit by the fire,
they'll drink some wine
for the funeral of my soul.
But wait for me and don't drink with them.
 
Wait for me and I'll come back
to spite everyone.
Those who don't wait for me, will say "That's lucky!"
But they don't know
how you saved me by your waiting through the war.
Only you and I will know how I came back:
only you know how to wait like nobody else.
