One day the cat, Snowball by name,
Decided, «I have got an aim.
I want to learn, to go to school
And study Maths. It may be cool!
I want to be a famous vet.
I want to be the cleverest cat.»
He jumped into the Robert's bag,
The boy was busy playing tag.
And in the morning at the lesson
The cat was sitting under the desk.
Snowball was listening to the teacher,
While she was talking about funny creatures.
The teacher said, «The cats are nice.
They're very curious and wise!
They may be white, red, brown, and grey».
Snowball said, «Meow! Right! We are great!»
And everybody saw the cat.
The pupils and the cat were glad!
The children stroked the cat’s neck.
Snowball said, «Meow! I'll be back!»
