The Rain

Once upon time,
A drop fell in my eye
And rainbow what I saw
Was knocking on my door.
I felt I was alive,
No matter what they tried
To keep me closed inside.
Oh, no! But they had cried?
I helped the bird to fly
Away from thirsty lie,
I heard the beat outside —
It’s sounds like breathing night.

Here I am.
Sprout in them.
It’s loneliness?
It is, I guess.

Day by day
I tried to pray
On silver cross.
It is my choice?

So what they want from me?
The rain — it’s all I need.
Can I just go away?
I have no words to say.
I fall into a hole.
They stare at the door.
My bird began to sing
And took me in the spring.
I hope to see again
My life without pain.
But for now I just go on
To stare at my closed door.
