I'm sorry, darling, but you should grow up a little
It's not that i can bring your self-esteem to an adequate
It's just that you're too much for yourself to evaluate
Making you healthy involves breaking your habits
And healthy in my eyes may not be healthy for another addict
I'm not going to tell you what's right, unless you figure and go
I'm just gonna drag you out of trouble like kitty stuck in overflow
And don't you dare crying in front of me because your own choices
Love is something that comes with age, unless you're a hostess
You're the captain, and I'm just working the ferry
And you are nothing but sum of the parts and intrinsic merit
