Дождь за окном,
И котеек усища,
Чайника медь и тепло рукавичек
И новогодний трескучий салют

Собачек и яблочный штрудель хрустящий,
Над дверью входной
Колокольчик звенящий,
Диких гусей клин летящий на юг
Вот лишь немного вещей, что люблю

Белые платья на стройных девицах
Снежинки, запутавшиеся в ресницах
Крыши к апрелю капелью поют
Вот лишь немного вещей, что люблю

Когда грустно 
когда мрачно, 
и в груди тоска
Я вспоминаю любимые вещи
И мне становится легче

Brown paper packages tied up with strings

Cream-colored ponies and crisp apple strudels
Doorbells and sleigh bells
And schnitzel with noodles
Wild geese that fly with the moon on their wings

Girls in white dresses with blue satin sashes
Snowflakes that stay on my nose and eyelashes
Silver-white winters that melt into springs

When the dog bites
When the bee stings
When I'm feeling sad
