‘Tangerines’ is a war drama movie that was directed by Zaza Urushadze in 2015. The script was also written by Zaza Urushadze. The stars are Lembit Ulfsak, Elmo Nuganen, Mikheil Meskhi, Giorgi Nakashidze and Raivo Trass. This movie earned about $1 million, whereas its budget was €650,000.
‘Tangerines’ is a deeply meaningful and powerful movie about people and their lives in Abkhazia during the conflict between Georgia and Abkhazia in 1992–1993.
The actors are highly convincing. The movie provokes strong feelings. It tells us about the value of a human being. ‘Tangerines’ was a critically acclaimed movie. It received many awards and was nominated for the Best Foreign Language Film.
