The Music! Music -
That's what warms the heart.
It's like a thread -
It goes in at the shoulders
And penetrates
And runs through every pore
And makes one numb,
Reviving ever more.
A fool it shuns!
What knows he of true sounds?
A genuineness - that is what he dreads,
For with the fear of the lack of bread
Comes blindness to the honesty of art.
No need there's more for words -
And that's the truth.
And thus dissolve and vanish mindless herds,
And Music heals each one of us by means
Which only likely means describe the best.
