Shaolin monk - song-ballad

 1 verse.
Mountains of heavenly height.
The Highest Mountains.
 which are much higher
than the clouds.
And there, at the very height,
 I saw the Shaolin monks.
as monolithic mountains -
 their essence.

Refrain:
The bodies of Shaolin monks
are like the rocks
of high mountains.
 The soul
of the Shaolin monks
is like a cosmic star .
 The spirit
of the Shaolin monks
is stronger than
 the hardest concrete.
 The eyes
of a Shaolin monk
reflect the bluest sky
that can be found on Earth.
 Only the heart
 of a Shaolin monk
 remains a mystery.

 2 verse.
Shaolin monks
don't waste themselves
 on the minutiae of life.
 The wholeness of their
understanding of the Universe
 and nature opens their eyes.
 Eyes that reflect
 the entire universe .
Monolithic and pure people,
 like mountains.

Refrain:
The bodies of Shaolin monks
are like the rocks
of high mountains.
 The soul
of the Shaolin monks
is like a cosmic star .
 The spirit
of the Shaolin monks
is stronger than
 the hardest concrete.
 The eyes
of a Shaolin monk
reflect the bluest sky
that can be found on Earth.
 Only the heart
 of a Shaolin monk
 remains a mystery.

 3 verse.
When I think
of a Shaolin monk,
 I think of his
 body as a stone.
 When I think
 of the Shaolin monk's eyes,
 I think of the endless
 sky and the cosmic stars.

Refrain:
The bodies of Shaolin monks
are like the rocks
of high mountains.
 The soul
of the Shaolin monks
is like a cosmic star .
 The spirit
of the Shaolin monks
is stronger than
 the hardest concrete.
 The eyes
of a Shaolin monk
reflect the bluest sky
that can be found on Earth.
 Only the heart
 of a Shaolin monk
 remains a mystery.
