The Traveller

I was walking by the road
Sun was shining down my back
Tried to find me sweet little woman
She’s the only that I lack

And I’ve been down-down-down to Mississippi
Took a sip from Buffalo
Never been to New-York city
But down that roads again I’ll go…

*******

So I came up to the ocean
Went ashore that deep blue sea
Haven’t found no ship no captain
Might the cap’n didn’t find me

Well then I stopped and looked around
No one seemed to be in sight
‘gain I don’t know where I’m bound
So the choice is - left or right…

*******

So I walk from town to town
Watch the world that’s turning on
See the peoples lost and found
Still got no place to call my home

And I’ve been high-high-high to Everest Mountain
And I dove down the Mariana’s Trench
Still I don’t know what I look for
So down them roads I’ll walk again...
