Idolizing. Moments, dates and conversations
Idolizing. Everyone I’ve ever met
Idolizing stupid things, actions and intentions ;
Wearing rose-colored glasses
Having expectations that can kill
Everything romantic always passes
Leaving a heart broken or ill
A naive teen? Likely somewhere deep
Instead of having both my feet on the ground
Plunging down, making a leap
Still idolizing. Still leaving a small space
Still idolizing. Still hoping for something native or of my own
Still idolizing. Still waiting to see that one face
Idolizing is a way of coping, being with others yet still alone
