Машина времени

                На эту статую гиганта каменного глядя,
                Нам не понять, чего она стоит тут ради?

Если не люди, - время всё разрушит,
Потопами, вулканами и ледниками,
Но вахту этих, ничто не нарушит,
Пока черёд дня ночи здесь под небесами.

В очень далёкие от нас века,
У ног Шаман-камня несла воды река,
С тех пор, силы инерции вращения Земли,
На восток русло далеко подвинули.

Статую всё-таки, мне было можно,
С фарватера, в бинокль разглядеть,
Но вернуть время назад невозможно,
Как Землю вокруг Солнца взад вертеть.

Но если всё-таки, было бы можно,
Хотел бы 3 мильона раз назад крутнуть,
В эпоху Плиоцена, предположим,         
На ход строительства камня взглянуть.

Когда деревья были втрое выше,               
И предки наши ростом метров пять,
Втрое статуя для них была ниже,
Чем людям нынешним если считать.

Спросил бы их, в честь кого идол?
Заслуги в чём, прославился он чем?
И много ли у них, вобще, проблем?
И если нет, то нашу эру бы не видел.

Скульптура – удаленье лишнего всего,
Век целый, может быть, и удаляли,
Сколько эпох стоит она после того?
Учёные пока нам не сказали.

Людям тех мест, статуя та - Шаман,
Кем для создателей была - не знаем,
Кто слышал вообще про этот истукан?
Да тот, кто дёру дал, и тАм, поживает,

Где больше знают про чучела Пасхи,
И пялятся по вечерам на шоу-маски,
И где увлечены дебатами пустыми,
Да стреляниной, чаще холостыми...



   Вероятно, человек умелый - homo habilis - решил из горы, возвышавшейся
   над той местностью, высечь скульптуру, профиль которой, с востока и запада,
   напоминает человека во весь рост.  Вдали, видна лента реки Амур, ширина,
   её, около 3 км., до неё, около 15 км.

                TIME MACHINE


Everything, if not man, so Time'll destroy:
Volcanoes, floods, glaciers, earthquakes,

To take a look at ancient people work.

When those trees were three times taller,               
And our ancestors four meters were height,
For them the statue was two times smaller,
Than for the modern people sight.

What does this idol means for them?
Why, I'd asked them, he was their hero?
And how many problems do they have?
If not so many, I wouldn't seen our era.

Sculpture it's removing needless things,
While carving, a lot of time have pass,
How many epochs it's standing here since?
Till now scientists haven't told to us.

For living on Amur, this stone is Shaman,
Whom he for builders was, we do not know,
In Moscow there aren't I guess just few men,
Who heard about him or by attention bestow.

They know pretty good another scarecrows,
Being meticulously in some trifles sunk,
For instance gazing at the maski shows,
And see movies with shooting blank...




 Probably, a homo habilis decided from a towering over that area mountain
to carve a sculpture whose profile looks like a full-length man. This job
could required the efforts of many generations of people.
In the distance is seen  a ribbon of the Amur river, its width
is about 3 km., to it is about 15 km.
