Случилося еще в Иране змея It happened in Iran sna

И было это в детстве раннем,         This image comes from childhood,
Ловил я бабочек в кустах,            Which was going in the East!
Раздвинул ветку ежевики              To be exact it was in Persia-land.
И вижу пару мелких глаз.             And this is remembered clear still!
Тем мигом предо мной возникла        Just in the fern green leaves
Почти что в рост мой невеликий       And blackberries so tightly mixed
Змея,что коброю была,                Was I for butterflies in running
И язычок ее играл...                But stopped so suddenly and stunning.
Из желтых и противных глаз           That high not less  as much my height
Казался мне смертельный страх.       There stood a yellow sandy snake
Но не ужалила змея,                In front of me with its tongue neat
Коль перед нею замер я,              In movements chaotic and quick.
В оцепененьи отступился,             Taken aback and horrified
Веленьем свыше мне простилось!       I still remember ugly eyes,-
                Just one step back and running fast.
                All the blessings,our God!
                Had I been pardoned afterall!
                This rare case is in my mind!
                Beleive or not it happened once!
                The snake"s so awful deadly glance!
