3. The Impossible Things - Part 24

There are no unsoothable kids,
But not everyone knows how it’s done.
There are no unacceptable bids
If inviting is in your day’s run.
There are no unflippable lids,
But you’d best not let yourself take on.
There are no unhittable skids:
When you lose your job it is no fun.

There are no eatable slogs
If you think that you’re already full.
There are no unleashable dogs
If no trespass makes you blow your cool.
There are no unsplittable logs
If your friend is not a complete fool.
There are no unplayable hogs:
Don’t ever let your selfishness rule.

There are no unmakeable sports,
But some jokes can be seen as too trite.
There are no unenterable ports
In a moonless, foggy, stormy night.
There are no unopenable courts
In case there is an action to fight.
There are no unholdable forts
If you’re ‘lone to put your house to rights.

There are no interpretable signs
If you walk never seeing the road.
There are no unridable lines
If independence can’t be your load.
There are no unimposable fines
If you violated highway code.
There are no untrippable mines
If you are doomed — so they shall explode.

There are no ungiveable shouts
If you’re overfilled with a great fear.
There are no unstandable louts
If they never come to you too near.
There are no unignorable outs
If your boss is a man who’s severe.
There are no unentertainable doubts,
But it’s not good when something’s not clear.

(It was gonna be a long story,
but I’ve made it, I think.)
