3. The Impossible Things - Part 16

There are no unsweetenable pills,
But sometimes people only offend.
There are no unatonable ills
If you break something never to mend.
There are no unfulfillable wills,
But on heirs it can often depend.
There are no unheadable bills
If your acting of all parts is grand.

There are no dispersable flocks
If a good shepherd keeps vigilant watch.
There are no inexhaustible stocks
If of all things you’re always in search.
There are no unopenable locks
If for some girl you carry a torch.
There are no unplaceable blocks
When a king’s really left in the lurch.

There are no unobeyable bosses
If you don’t forget ‘bout your career.
There are no unincurrable losses
If an outnumbering enemy’s near.
There are no unlosable tosses
If luck wants you to look at its rear.
There are no uncrossable flosses
If fast water is not what you fear.

There are no killable yearns
When She’s not with you, so you’re in gloom.
There are no unmakeable turns,
But be sure your car won’t be your tomb.
There are no unhealable burns
If there was not so much fire as fume.
There are no unfindable ferns,
But you will never see how they bloom.

There are no unlikable works
If you get out of it a big kick.
There are no unperformable jerks
If you don’t want to be weak and sick.
There are no undemandable perks
If at meat and at work you are quick.
There are no unthrustable dirks,
But d’you want to wake up with a shriek?
