My systolic has jumped too high - It's reached two hundred in a fly ...
My ears seem to be clogged,
My blood pressure' so high -
I should have blacked-out
But I haven't - only God knows why !
When the nurse gives me the pill
I feel elated and, you bet, I will ! -
There's no option in ER :
You take that pill and survive
as you are
The patient who's taken care of
By the squad of the doctors and the nurses
who wouldn't sign off
Unless you are stable and O.K. !
I wish them all : Stay healthy
during this viral pandemic
and all the year round !
