3. The Impossible Things - Part 10

There are no unplunderable fisks,
And state robbers are busy as bees.
There are no unrecordable disks,
And cassettes are replaced by CDs.
There are no unseeable whisks:
Every move of your lover’s to please.
There are no unrunnable risks
When with poverty you have been seized.

There are no alterable cloaks
If you can’t tell a lace from a band.
There are no uncrackable jokes,
But the humorless don’t understand.
There are no unaimable strokes
If there’s someone whom you cannot stand.
There are no unfellable oaks,
But beware not to hurt legs or hands.

There are no insufferable falls
If you lose just your life, not the crown.
There are no unrazable walls,
But you must beware what you tear down.
There are no unopenable balls
If you’re the richest man in your town.
There are no unventable galls,
But hate is the sea where you can drown.

There are no deliverable goods
In the world overflowing with fools.
There are no unpreservable foods,
But they’re useless without opening tools.
There are no unburnable woods
When the air’s too far from being cool.
There are no unfavorable moods:
It’s not good being one, as a rule.

There are no unraisable roofs:
Try to think what you want to achieve.
There are no unpaddable hoofs,
Walking being not hard to receive.
There are no untreatable goofs
If they really want to be retrieved.
There are no inexposable spoofs,
But some people like to be deceived.
