3. The Impossible Things - Part 9
If you’re not a man easily scared.
There are no imperceptible scowls
Of the people whom you cannot bear.
There are no unbreedable fowls
If you like their meat, well-done or rare.
There are no insufferable prowls
If you look for a thing of your care.
There are no inconstructible barns,
But it’s no good place to be born in.
There are no unspinnable yarns,
And you can’t always clown, slave or king.
There are no unpileable karns:
Sometimes we add a stone to some sin.
There are no unobjectionable darns,
Because swear words can bite like bee stings.
There are no concealable shames,
For disgrace is what gives all a fit.
There are no inextinguishable flames
If your water’s not only your spit.
There are no unattainable aims
If you’ve got a success, a good bit.
There are no insupportable games
If your partner’s a jovial wit.
There are no unmanageable tasks
If one can see the fire in your eyes.
There are no undrainable casks
Even if it is of a big size.
There are no undoffable masks:
You cannot always be in disguise.
There are no unsmashable flasks,
And that is why sometimes a sot cries.
There are no warrantable means
If your path’s covered with those whom you bled.
There are no undimmable sheens:
Some day even our sun will be dead.
There are no unfrayable jeans
If you like to walk and show your head.
There are no unfuckable queens:
Now virginity is not widespread.
