Uzuyumun qashi firuzedendir,
Konlum achilmayir bu gun, nedendir?
Yaman gunde dost elinden berk yapish -
Dunyanin hevesi kechib gedendir...

Bizim baglar, choller xosh bir tamasha
Sonalar gollerde gezerler qosha
Nece chetin olsa omrun yollari
Birlikd; yorulmaz , vurariq basha..

Bulud gezer, chiskin chiler, chen eyler
Yar yarindan ayri dushse, qem eyller
Nece qalim sevgilimden arali?
Bir baxishla derdi yuz melhem eyler...

The gemstone of my ring is made of turquoise.
Why am I so mirthless today?
In the days of hardship, hold tightly the hand of your friend -
The longing for this world is transient.

Our gardens and valleys please the eye,
Swans on the lake swim in pairs.
However hard are the ways of life,
Together we won't tire, we'll pull it off.

Clouds pass by, bring showers, nourish the fields.
One aches when parted with the beloved,
How would I stay away from my dearest?
One gaze of hers is a consolation enough.
