3. The Impossible Things - Part 4

There are no unrepairable kinks
If you’re a mechanic of the first rate.
There are no inviolable links
Of wedlock if your love turns to hate.
There are no undrinkable drinks,
But, you know, spirits can seal your fate.
There are no incontestable pinks:
Everything is improved soon or late.

There are no vanquishable mopes
If your will to live is very small.
There are no unnoosable ropes
If a hangman obeys to foes’ call.
There are no unpurchasable dopes,
But if bought, turn your face to the wall.
There are no unrealizable hopes
If you hope just to die after all.

There are no uncleanable spots
If you have washing powder that’s fit.
There are no insensible rots
If the smell’s too far from being sweet.
There are no uncastable lots
If you’re one who to his fate submits.
There are no inextricable knots,
But it happens: reality hits.

There are no recruitable crews
When they shall not have any reward.
There are no indisputable views
If two men are not of one accord.
There are no unlinkable hues:
Tastes differ, I say in a word.
There are no inaccessible clues
If you’re Sherlock Holmes whose brain’s his sword.

There are no ineradicable roots,
But don’t pull out all plants at a run.
There are no unwearable boots,
Provided a cripple you are none.
There are no unperformable loots,
But a criminal shall be undone.
There are no unallowable shoots,
But don’t kill animals just for fun.
