T: I’ll ne’er tergiversate
By having betrayed our love,
‘Twill never terminate
In such a crime, my dove.
That ‘tis true I testate,
Like a witness at the bar:
For your being with me
I always bless my stars.
Yes, I don’t titubate,
I tread a straight’way path —
You are my compass, so
Please lead me till my death.
I would not tolerate
Somebody courting you,
For that would tribulate me —
A rival’d hardly do.
