Рукою тонкой, мамы милые черты
Пишу по дереву, Творца небесной кистью,
Прелестный образ русского лица
Сияет лилией живородящего сюжета.

Мадонна с гением лучистым на руках,
В объятиях нежных солнечного света
Призрачно смотрит розою поэта
Рождаясь в пене девственной холста.

Обрывки фраз мазками золотого масла
Обводят серебро любимых слов
Слагая музыку волнения страстью,
Иконописью, дара древности богов.

With my delicate hand, my mother’s dear features
I paint on the panel tree
With the Creators heavenly brush,

Une belle image d'un visage russe
Brille tel un fleur de lys d'un motif vivipare.

Con la mia mano delicata, gli tratti carine di mia madre
Dipingo sul pannello di legno con una spazzola celeste dal Creatore
Una bella immagine di un volto russo
Splende come un giglio di una trama vivipara.

Tra le braccia  della dolce luce solare
Guarda spettrale, la rosa di un poeta
Nata nella schiuma di una tela vergine.

Traccia l'argento delle parole preferite
Componendo la musica dell'eccitazione passionale,
Iconografia, il dono dell'antichit; degli dei.
