I set us free

They wanted to re-write my DNA,
They wanted to wash off my personality,
They wanted to silence voices of my ancestors,
Of my angelic guides-beacons of my soul.

But Divine voice was impeccable,
As roaring thunder, it frightened those feeble
And shut pathetic attempts in vain
Against the will of the Creator.

My soul wasn’t in doubt,
It was alert with its eyes opened widely.
It was keen to learn and then heal the ground
These barbarians have walked upon.

They prophesied a “clean” start, with no memory recorded,
With no roads taken and no mistakes happened,
They promised to “heal” my ancient history,
To erase its traces under my feet,
They wanted to cut the roots of my genetic tree,
Promising to re-wire my brain,
To re-write my birth formula and to change my fate...

I laughed!!!

And I shut the devil. His lies were miserable,
So I cut his tongue and silenced his voice
of temptations and promises.
I fulfilled my heart with gratitude
and pride for my origin and roots.

I stood on the ground firmly
And opened my heart to the Earth,
Grateful for its history and infinite lives
That have lived to bring me here today.

...And divine light entered my heart,
Spread over every cell of my body,
Reached every molecule of my DNA,
And echoed thousands years back...

And I was set free.
In the name of ancestry.
In the name of humanity.
In the name of divinity.
