Jinny

Jinny’s going home she’s on darkest alley
Working till it’s late at night
Took the shortest cut didn’t call for taxi
Counting on the moon light

Lamppost flickered and then went out
It’s Cold out on a western coast
Wind blows over her as she set her hat straight
Hoping she has seen a ghost.

Something is not right something bothers Jinny
As she’s walking faster down the road.
She is just a girl she is light and skinny
And her earring is pure gold.

Fear is crawling fast heels’ not really helping
Lump is rising up her throat
Here’s the steps behind here’s an end of alley
Here sails her last lifeboat.

Jinny’s running home she will never make it
Footprints are washed off by rain
Should’ve took the bus should’ve called for taxi
No one ever seen her again.
