1. The earth is trembling of God's glory
And thunder rolls from side to side:
This is God's voice to people, calling:
"O, Israel, listen your God

2. O, Israel! You build Me temples
And they are full of purest gold
And you bring Me the burning incense
And they burn day and night at all.

3. Why do I need the temple's glory
The soulless dust and earthy stone?
I made the earth and I made waters
And I created all in all.

4. Why give me gold? Into deep of earth -
Into the womb of lasting rocks
I poured like rain, like water, inside
Melted by fire, precious gold.

5. Why give me incense? To Me also
The earth within of all its sides
Burns incense of all flowers boldly
Under the dew in morning's light.

6. Why give me fire? I put in heaven
All stars above your weary head
And light the new stars above your heads
Among the dark and gloomy space.

7. Your gift is poor, but there is precious
Gift that i want to take from you -
Come with it to God, and I will take
All of your gifts that give Me you.

8. I need the hearth, which's more pure than gold
And strong will to do all My work
I need the person, who loves others
And loyal to Me in his love.

9. Come to My cross and leave there your sins
I'll wash away them with My blood
Give Me your life - I'll give you My peace
And that's is how you please your God."
