15. The Night
Oh, I wanna sleep all night,
I don’t wanna be afraid.
I’m fed up with my nightmares,
Think that God ‘bout me don’t care.
Maybe, he don’t understand
Such dreams are not Neverland.
Don’t need any frightful dreams.
God don’t know it, so it seems.
I can die before I wake,
I can drown in the Death Lake
That is always in Deathland,
And I see no helping hand.
Where’ll I get to when I die?
Hell, you say, or paradise?
I don’t care where I will be!
Worse than here you’ll never see!
