Mortal souls

Save our mortal souls, oh please god
As we are children of light
Saving lives trough the fire and blood
In the day and in the night.

Staying strong cos we must
We’re fighting the death every day
But who’ll fight for us?

We are the unknown heroes
There will be no legends about
And sometimes we see monsters in the mirrors
And sometimes we’re going round and round

And we won’t be forever remembered
None of walls could’ve fit our names
But our hearts are like the stones of ember
Carrying light through the fire and flames.

We don’t remember our homes
Treasuring moments of rest we can’t keep
Living among the tombstones.
