Red Rose Tea

On Beacon street
I hear the Jewish beat..
Sing the song, dance the dance.

No walls, no regrets
To abandoned icy motherland.
I am refuge and free
On Beacon street with a cup of tea.

On Beacon square
The Liberty is everywhere
But why I still see a lake of blood
On the Red one?

Twenty years of prison..
Twenty years of freedom..
Divided in equal pieces
Am I still alive in strangers faces?

I am refuge and free..
On Beacon street Two of me,
but one still flee at night
to see a vanishing land and sight.

I must go, I must drink cup of tea.
The rose is red..
The life is fled, the lake is dead.
Fly away my little bird, I set you free

I am refuge and free
On a Beacon street with the cup of tea.
