Chapter 2 Danila Antonov son

At & nbsp; Anton & nbsp; Tsyss-Gordenko – the Cossack of the Poltava regiment (according to the Rumyantsev inventory of the Little Russian regiments) sons grew up. Teach myself. Apparently, Anton belonged to the Cossack elite. Reliable information about him and his family has not been preserved.& nbsp; Documented & nbsp; rod & nbsp; Tsissov & nbsp; covered & nbsp; starting with the son of Anton & nbsp; Danila, who reached the rank of officer.
In 1999, my second cousin  were found in the Royal archives  documents about Danilo Tsyss (former name Gordenko somehow disappeared) striking  details and bureaucratic accuracy in describing each step of his service. All the battles, the movements of the regiment, where, when he distinguished himself, he showed bravery and bravery, for which he was awarded when "he was promoted".
Danila was born in 1784. In 1802godu November 18 th young Danila was enlisted as a clerk in the Little Russian Grenadier regiment, "as from the regimental formulary list appears»
He went through the entire Patriotic war of 1812. "For bravery rendered, he was made an ensign, then a sub-Lieutenant," etc.
Here is the style of a detailed description of his service:
"1815 April 14th returns to its borders, having entered the borders of Russia. In the same year, June 18, after crossing the Neman river for the second time and passing the Duchy of Warsaw, Prussia, Saxony, Bavaria, July 18, he crossed the river Rhine into France to the city of Paris, and Otto, passing through different possessions, entered the borders of Russia in the same year, December 12."That is, he participated in the secondary persecution of Napoleon by the European coalition.
Described his exploits in the battles of Smolensk, at " the village of Borodino, where, although not in the ranks, but out of special zeal and bravery took willingly weapons after the wounded and showed in this battle excellent feats and bravery, for which he was marked with the insignia of the Military order."
Being a servant, "I have not been on vacation, I am single, and I have been certified worthy for promotion."
In 1818, Danila Antonovich retired due to illness "by the Highest decree of His Imperial Majesty with the same ranks". The document was " examined by His Excellency the commander-in-Chief of the 1st army, General field Marshal Prince Barclay de Toli."
After retiring, Danila Antonovich settled in Poltava and married Matrena Maximova (in another document of Maria). From this marriage were born sons Ivan in 1832 and Alexander in 1841, which is known from the entry in the book of the Poltava Nobleman's Department meeting, where " Ivan and Alexander Danilovs Tsissov made in the second part of the Noble genealogy book."
The document is extremely verbose and bureaucratic. Even stated that the money for the stamp paper recovered from Zissou.
I don't know the year of Danila Antonovich Tsyss's death.
