The devils and the angels,
The fire and the ice,
The shoals and the deeps:
I see them in your eyes.
The question and the answer
Both fatuous and wise,
The trouble and the calmness:
I see them in your eyes.
The tears and the laughter,
The whisper and the cries,
The prudence and the folly:
I see them in your eyes.
When we are not together
And when my soul dies,
The only thing I need is
To look into your eyes.
