… Not paying much attention when we met
I thought you were kind and smart, but nothing else to bet.
But when you caringly embraced me in your arms,
My world did suddenly turn upside down.
… While brain was trying to calm down,
My voice inside has found a crown.
Despite the logic and my crafted world,
I heard it whisper “Welcome home”.
… It’s complicated and I never thought
I’d fall for someone who I can't consort.
But I’m so grateful for all you taught
And for the transformation of how I now look at the world.
… No matter what, I’ll always be your friend,
I want you to be happy and to help this world ascent.
And yet…
I wish the most to feel your soul embracing mine again;
A soul that cared and gifted me the strength to be my very self.
