white scarf

At cold winter nights
Under the blue skies
The black and naked river lies.
The snowflake falls and melts forever here,
Our shadow kisses its surface without fear,
Who am I, my dear?

I slowly walk by it’s side,
I saw a white, silky ribbon far away
counting steps and pray
Like the death has never tried.
Old lady is selling a white scarf-
Here is a dime,
give me this tiny piece of time..

Then I saw a man, he smiled,
With the secrets of God in his eyes.
I turned on the mystic rhyme,
I asked him to dance with me,
I said my name,
I Asked him to hold me tight,
I Asked him to love me tonight..
I opened my eyes,
My pale scarf vanished in the skies,
And every dusk I die
And every dawn I fly..
