Kenosis

You’ll find no burdening doubts, no pinches of consciousness, no worrying feelings
in mine resigned penitential soul.
Without any unnecessary and empty pride I fall on my knees,
So that I can hear angels’ prayers which they extol.

I sacrificed all what I had, not spared a smallest thing:
In bagger’s rugs, but clean in body and in deeds.
I paid all debts, decrepit of age doesn’t frighten me,
And empty stillness of the solitude I have no fear indeed.

Vain thirst to dwell forever in the forgetful offspring I was spared for,
To multiply and produce without en end I have no desire.
Free for family attachments, platitudinous pleasures I also free for.
Banality of family squabbles and hassles will never grow me tired.

My cup of existence is full of love up to the golden brim.
I bare it without splashing a drop in the steady run of my lonely days.
The life-giving drop of ambrosia to any yearning soul I will happily bring,
And after many been appeased, my cup is not emptied but froths fuller still when raised.
