She was the sweetest dream of all

She was the sweetest dream of all,
Of all the dreams I’ve seen before,
I saw her once and lost control,
Which now I hardly can restore.

I saw her standing by the ocean,
Her lovely eyes were merely closed,
She stood alone, without motion,
Her worries vanished and disposed.

The wind would touch her hair gently,
Would play with hemline of her dress,
And I would look at her, intently
With feeling I could not express.

She was as beautiful as light,
And as mysterious as night,
I'd spend the lifetime just to know,
What secrets she keeps on her own.
