Why nobody understand?
I want to figure skate
And dance!
I want to glide on ice-
Feel free,
Express myself-
Hey, look at me!
But how much longer
Should I wait?
I really don't want to be afraid,
It's only a dream-
Soon it will fade,
I'm getting old,
It is too late!
Refrain:
But then again
When I see the ice,
I imaging myself
Put on skates stroke twice!
Crossovers left,
Crossovers right,
Make turns and jumps,
Speen 'camel' nice-
Express myself-
I want to skate on ice!
Everytime I'll go away,
Ice-rink would
Hold me back to stay!
It'll make me think
About all day,
And I'll regrette,
Cause I didn't stay!
But there is a problem only one,
I did that sport when I was young,
And now I'm here remember none,
I need to learn again
And practice some!
