a dancing flame and wind

I’m in your eyes
a dancing flame and wind
who can be lit with lips
so sweet and touchy
recall the past
its smoldering and arching
as if suntraps which gleam
when trees – in swing
it’s time to leave
this perforated dream
like calmness of the dead
deserts church stretches
yet something’s changed
yes something’s changed and sketchy

for in your words –
so little to stay warm
a bit of ease
which can’t be called “too shallow”
you still adore the length of halts
in spelling
in breathing passages
in what might harm
we are so stunned
with all these gossip swarms
and our pain’s
no longer shared to mellow
there is so little of old heart
to save us

where is the spring
the painted one with wings
of rapid changes
and unbridled passion
where every moment
always leads to action
in which we trembled
bloomed
and meant to win
so yearn for something
which we will never spin
and called this life
oh happiness’ perfection
how can we sever
chemical connections?

it’s “he and she”
a sea and lonely ship
this first and speechless gasp
of never settled
that not the last of laughs
which falls like petals
and overcome of bitterness
on lips
yet I don’t want
that day to be the creep
who swallows voices
coziness
and rattles
when what is left
the silence of lost battles
