I think that this is on a physiological level: we are the mind inside post-monkeys, we are forced to eat like animals, fuck like animals, die like animals.  We understand our situation and understand that this is pain and this is rock. Philosophy and science should not be contained. We suffer one hundred thousand years. We run on savannas, killing the last living creatures. But we have known the basics of civilization for a hundred thousand years - we live in clans, use animals in caves as a living stock of food. we had to take one step. And if we took this step(agriculture), our civilization would now be 50,000 years older. We suffer from our own stupidity and delusions, from the fact that we hide ourselves from reality.

It is the middle ages which we had built as children who want to play war and other violent games. At the top of our pyramid is obscure, maybe just stupid old sick man who wants to live and to die, and he doesn't care about infinite perspective.
