What's between us now? Who can say?
We were tenderly in love and free last spring.
But some evil spirits came across our way
Stirring minds, making bodies shake.
Maybe we have made mistakes
Listening to fears not to God.
Love between us is a gift
Aimed at healing lonely broken hearts
And this love is stronger every day,
It's a flame that keeps the life inside.
It can show what we both may
Its a fire that should keep at night.
And I'm sitting here in the dark
With a sheet of paper and a pen
Turning all the feelings from inside
Into tender loving lines.
We were both young when we first met
Airy fire and a chilly flow.
Have we changed?
Well, both yes and no..
We've matured or at least seems so.
What s between us now? Who can say?
