You take breaths in, you take breaths out -
These things can no one live without.
You live your life the way you can
And wish to be a better man.
Each day, you try to learn new skills.
Each month, you have to pay the bills.
On Friday evening, you drink beer
And you grow older every year.
You have not planted any tree,
You have no children left of thee,
You have not bought nor built a house,
You have not had a caring spouse.
What you have learned, it will remain,
This life of misery and pain,
For some need food, and some need fame.
Though, everything ends up the same.
And whom on earth you have to blame
For pointless life without an aim.
These things can no one live without -
All take breaths in, all take breaths out.
