(inspired by the perfomance "The Picture of Dorian Gray")
They're sitting at the sidelines,
Waiting which of them will win,
Watching how people live their lives,
How they struggle and how they sin.
And the play is now in motion,
Figures cast, the terms are set.
Black and White, eternal forces,
Rolled the dice and made a bet.
Who will win and who will lose,
Doesn't matter, they would say,
Just the pieces on the board,
Just a game they love to play.
Come and see yourself tonight,
See the shadows and the light,
See the actors on the stage,
And their joy and their rage.
See the portrait causing strife...
How it all just comes to life,
And emotions are running high,
Want to laugh and want to cry.
But the play isn't over yet.
See them make another bet!
