Is there a happier fate
Than to be a labourer?
Toiling is our natural state,
Almighty is Education conqueror:
Your Education is a set of mirrors
Which life and noble thought reflect.
Ignorant darkness, ancient horrors
Your Education can deflect.
The Labour-Knowledge alloy multiplies
The finest riches of the Earth.
The man who the mighty tool applies
Can build new life and can go forth!
