Thy treasure is thy soul
remember this my son,
the sun will rise and fall,
and you might think that fun
is what you really want,
but that's a big mistake,
the biggest in your life;
I know a loving wife
might help you to escape,
to get away from what
will bring you sleepless nights;
by fun you might be shot
and awful dreadful sights
will fill your endless days
and take away your joy.
Be sure to learn some prays,
this life is not a toy.
It's full of fear and pain,
and full of tragedies,
it's useless to complain,
that is reality.
New dawns will come and go
and they might see your fear;
so change, don't be too slow
or you will disappear.
