Serenity suffuses lawns and moors,
Connection leads to conscious silent ages.
The misty fumes that come from earthly pores
Are cleared, and clarity shines bright in pages.
The cold and gentle air touches the skin,
Evokes the mem'ry of the gentleness supreme.
And longing binds the heart, feeling akin
To my serenity, to my October gleam
