There's no "now" and no "then".
No time.
They have done this again.
But why?
What's the name of this curse?
The Trust.
Watch how quickly it burns-
So fast...
Expectations are tall,
But shame
Makes them seem very small.
And lame.
Crawling out of the dark-
It runs.
Runs away, very far...
Don't glance
Like Orpheus:
Don't break the rule.
It will haunt you at once
To fool.
Turn your back
And be standing still.
Trust your luck.
Not a thing
Is real.
