For shame deny that thou bear-st love to any,
Who for thyself art so improvident.

That 'gainst thyself thou stick'st not to conspire,
Seeking that beauteous roof to ruinate
Which to repair should be thy chief desire:
О change thy thought, that I may change my mind!
Shall hate be fairer lodged than gentle love?
Be as thy presence is, gracious and kind,
Or to thyself at least kind-hearted prove:

That beauty still may live in thine or thee.

Пусть Совесть обличит тебя, что лжёшь
в том, что имеешь ты любовь к кому-то,
лишь у других любовь к себе берёшь,
ты враг себе жестокий, безрассудный,
ты ненависти преданнейший раб,
идеей разрушенья одержимый,
злодейку поселил в прекрасный храм,
и веришь обещаньям её лживым,
ужели ненависть достойна жить
в жилище, что любви предназначалось,
опомнись, и свой выбор измени,
ещё не поздно начать жизнь с начала.

Любовь изменит всё в твоей судьбе.
и будет жить и в детях, и в тебе.
