How even crooked and deprived beings
Stick with each other to continue living
Confirms that we are needy social things
Until the very last and shallow breathing.
The pleasant and comforting solitude
Can be enjoy'd while help is not required;
And internet may smoothen and delude
As social replacement for the proud.
But understanding and a warm embrace
Are later valued much more than entertainment ---
That very special soul's to be trac'd
Before the vital force has fully drained.
We, humans, are ridiculously weak ---
No matter how, in youth, pretend to be unique.
