It was a day of shadows when I got lost between them and the light
Neither walked nor flew but trapped
At the border of your past
and of my future where I was heading to, at last...
Two letters - with a Promise and a Farewell
And in between - a life in absence, full of pain
But memory of your face, always with a smile,
Still moves me - with reproaches and with love
It seems that you returned to shadows,
Escaping in your network with to-does
And I, being so far from your land
Can only see you in between my eyelashes, dreaming, still with you...
Those dreams, as always, are alive
But I'm not telling you of those
A tender and enlightening thought
You'll sense just for a moment
at the dawn. And I eternally regret
for having lost, for having had...
