I wish I didn't have to hide.
I wish my words were never stolen.
I wish my friends were on my side.
I wish I didn't drown my sorrow.
I wish the meaning of my life
Was found by a little girl.
Because it hurts me like a knife
When I don't use this kind of pearl.
And little girl can do this fine.
She will exploit my tiny gift.
She'll find a way to draw the line.
And she will never be too swift.
I wish I didn t have to hide
