Summer Rain

It’s summer evening, not so late
I’ve missed your call, no one to blame
Looking at the window, seeing lilac skies
Everything reminds me of the recent times
I like this presentiment of a June' rain storm
Could  it help me to feel like someone newborn?

Chorus: I love the sound of a summer rain’ drops
I like to breathe in its smell till it stops
And there is no need to hide my pouring tears
Summer rain washes them with its pure streams
I want to rinse you off from my heart
You really don't care, so why won't I start?

It’s a sudden lightening, like in a tale
Every time different and always the same
Staring at your pictures, all I have from you
Wondering how you're doing, ain’t you feeling blue?
I want these heaven-sent waters to keep falling down
Maybe they could remove your tracks from this town...
