If you don’t speak, no one will know.
If you don’t hint, nothing will show.
If you don’t shout, no one will hear.
If you don’t treat, nothing will heal.
One single voice is truly enough
to reach out to those that have lost their path.
One pair of eyes that can see the light
suffices to lead those mortally blind.
It’s such a huge shame to make an excuse,
keep idling about and be of no use.
So if you have something you’re willing to say
don’t let your own voice get drowned out in vain.
Had everyone been so awfully numb,
so dreadfully deaf, could not make a sound,
had everyone thought, ‘There’s someone but me,’
What would our new world have presently been?
If you want to change the things you don’t like,
if you want to make it all perfectly right,
pluck up all your courage and open your mouth.
‘Cause trust me, my friend, one voice is enough.
