Sacrifice
Where the endless sky is bright,
Having set the light, I fall
And dissolve into the night.
Ever crawling from the dark,
Being yet consumed by fear,
Still on me I bear thy mark,
Overpowering frontier.
Feel the shiver in thy hands—
Starving heart is bleeding fast.
Everlasting malice tends
To desecrate the trace of past.
Thou usurp'st the flame and grin'st
Piercing my chest with a lance.
Feel it creep beneath thy skin—
Overwhelming innocence.
Now beware! for here it ends,
Ultimate but doubtful stride.
The wind oblivion transcends
Catharsizing withered mind.
Very close, within this world,
Where the blazing sun is bright,
Having risen, I stand tall
Resurrecting from the light.
